Ethiopian American activists in DC metro area plan to collect thousands of signatures on Saturday night in front of the D.C. Armory from Teddy Afro’s fan that would urge Secretary of State Hillary Clinton demand the ruling regime in Ethiopia to immediately and unconditionally release Birtukan Mideksa.

Representatives of Ethiopian Americans announced that Teddy Afro’s New Year concert is expected to be a prime opportunity to support Birtukan Mediksa.

Today, Ethiopian American Civic Advocacy and March 4 Freedom activists joined UDJ DC to collect petitions from Ethiopian Americans living in DC Metro that urge Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to use all diplomatic means to strongly demand the ruling regime in Ethiopia to immediately and unconditionally release Birtukan Mideksa.
