Press Release: Thank You for Coming Out

February 14, 2011

Ethiopian Americans from Greater Washington Metro Area held a successful pro-democracy protest outside the U.S. Department of State. The protestors assembled this morning outside the US Department of State to call for more rational and forward looking foreign policy that enables the U.S. to achieve its short- and long- term strategic goals of maintaining peace and stability in the Horn of Africa through encouraging the expansion of individual freedom and liberty.

The protest organizers urge all Ethiopian Americans to continue their actions against the tyrannical regime and demand the US government to immediately stop supporting war criminals Meles Zenawi, who has been suppressing basic liberties of the Ethiopian people since 20 years.
