DC Candle Light Vigil for Freedom Had A Big Turnout

Washington — A large crowd of Ethiopian-Americans, Ethiopians, and friends of Ethiopia gathered Sunday evening at the White House to bring to the attention of the Obama Administration to the recent wave of politically-targeted arrest of many Ethiopians by Meles Zenawi under the guise of fighting terrorism.

Today’s vigil hosted one of the biggest crowds DC had in the recent past.

The Ethiopians urged the Obama administration to stand with the people of Ethiopia in its struggle for democracy, freedom, justice, and equality. More report to follow!
