March 4 Freedom announced its plan to conduct a protest to denounce the invitation of War Criminal and Tyrant Meles Zneawi just a week before the G 20 summit once information was leaked to the group about the Tyrants trip to the US from sources close to the regime.
Soon thereafter, March 4 Freedom contacted Ethiopian media websites, radio programs and various organizations and number of activists to join hands and March in Pittsburgh.

Ethiopian Americans protested on September 24 and 25, 2009 to denounce the invitation of Dictator and Genocider Meles Zenawi at the Pittsburgh G20 summit. Protesters gathered from DC metro area, Pittsburgh city, Nebraska, Ohio and New York.
Ethiopian American protesters exposed Tyrant and War Criminal Meles Zenawi who was hiding at the Double Tree Hotel located in downtown Pittsburgh.
Placards/posters bearing the slogans “G 20 Stop Financing and Dining with War Criminals Such as Meles Zenawi”, “President Obama Africa Deserves a Representative Better than a War Criminal and a Terrorist such as Melese Zenawi”, G 20 Stop Supporting Dictators” and “Human Rights First” were waved by the marchers. Many people from Pitssburgh area were on the streets who were inspired by the protestors’ demands to held War Criminal such as Meles Zenawi accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
Marchers asked to stop rewarding Bin Ladens (War Criminals such as Meles Zenawi) in Africa.
The Protest will continue tomorrow.

- The Buses/Vans from Washington, DC , departs at 6 a.m. from Debre Selam Kidist Mariam Church-Ethiopian Orthodox the 1350 Buchanan Street NW Washington , DC 20011.
- Buses/Vans the Northern Virginia , departs at 6 a.m. from the Southern Towers 4901 Seminary Rd.
- Buses/Vans Maryland , departs at 6 a.m. from the Silver Spring Downtown or the Metro Station, location : 8399 Colesville Rd , Silver Spring , MD 20910 , Nearby Starbucks Coffee or Kinkos/Fedxs
All services will be provided to the registered marchers on a first-come and first-serve basis. The buses and vans depart on time.
